Dêrika Hemko the Kurdish city Location ========= Located in the far north-east of Syria The town is about 20 km (12 mi) west of the Tigris "Dijla" river which defines the triple border between Syria, Turkey and Iraq. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics,Derik today is situated within the autonomous Federation of Northern Syria – Rojava.
